No pictures for this one but I wanted to note this because I thought this was really cool. Walking home from the train station on Wednesday, there were drumming sounds everywhere. People were beating their pots and pans together etc outside their balconies and terraces. The sound continued the entire walk home and was coming from almost every building. Turned out to be a protest against Cristina (the president's) abuse of her power to make announcements across all the TV channels which she's been using a lot. I actually do remember a dinner a few weeks ago my host mom flicking through the TV, frustrated with the same footage of Cristina making a speech. Apparently that night she had planned to use this again but did not because of the protests.
